Updates

Well, thought it was time for an update. I have lots of new pictures for I was on 2 volcanoes and in a few other places since my last post. Mt. Etna (in Sicily) was very interesting and this week we are were in Santorini and Mykonos, where we had a look at some of the volcanoes in this region. Nice scenery but wow, this is life in the oven. So hot that even the Ship's AC can't cope with it. We are in Athens today and I think the temperatures here must be about 40 something °Celsius. We are changing over guests today, so not much time however photos are in preparation....

regards to everyone

Have some pictures

Well now that I am feeling a little better (had a bad cold the last few weeks - one person ill on board a ship it is like an epidemic, I hope nobody becomes seriously ill on board or it is definitely going to spread very easily) let me try and give you some pictures from my travels.

Open water, this is a good place to watch films about ships and submarines, it really adds an additional dimension to these kind of films when you can hear the Mediterranean splashing against the ships outer just behind your head.

The beach of Ajaccio, nice places and sunshine all inclusive job.

This is the MV Silver Cloud, my home for the next 5 months.
